Just saw the old pals Bloodweiser perform at Fontana’s in NYC. I shot a couple songs with the 3-D camera and again posted them on youtube. The camera gets better results with brighter light but it does work. If you don’t have the old red/cyan glasses lying around from those 3-D comics or Hannah Montana movie, just chose “crosseye” view and cross your eyes till the left and right images merge in the middle.

Dinosaurs, Drunken Crows, and Record Collectors
Hey. I know it’s been a while since I rapped at ya. But I’ve been keeping busy. Here’s a few new projects I have out there.
I illustrated a story (written by Brendan) about “Prisoner of Jazz” Boris Rose for Brendan Burford’s new Syncopated anthology. Boris was an intriguing real life character who recorded live jazz off the radio in a time when most of these performances would have been otherwise completely lost to the ages.
I colored the cover and several interior bits of art in the forthcoming Art of Tony Millionaire coffee table type art book. I’ve been working with Tony for a few years now, and this book has tons of art and anecdotes that I’d never seen or heard of. Entertaining and Educational!
I am the colorist for the new Ricardo Delgato 4 part series “Age of Reptiles: The Journey”. You may have seen Ricardo’s previous Age of Reptiles series in the 90’s, and he’s stepped his game up even more this time. So many dinosaurs.
I have a couple other cool coloring projects on the horizon but them’s top secret for now.

my hometown in google street view
Let’s give google some sort of award. The good it is doing is on par with the Smithsonian or the library of congress. It’s 360 street views are it seems not just of large cities anymore. It is documenting visually the entire US in a way that has never been done before. Case in point: Have a look around at my hometown. Montour, Iowa.. population less that 300:

Drinky Crow Show is On the Air!
I’ve been keeping it on the down low until now, but Tony Millionaire hired me to draw backgrounds for his “Drinky Crow Show”, and now it’s online and soon to be on the air! It was a challenge at first accommodating myself to the style, but I got in the groove. Here are a couple of the better ones from the first episode and my name in the credits (Millionaire drew that 3rd panel himself). Coloring was by Tony Mora. Dang if there wasnt time for me to draw and color. But it’s just as well. Mora did a great job.

Robot Chicken
My friend Nick Gazin pointed out that they seemed to have incorporated my idea from Star Wars Tales that the Wampa in star wars has 2 kids into the new Robot Chicken star wars parodies. Here’s the comic I did and a screen capture of the shot on the show ( I don’t mean to sound accusatory. I’m flattered that something I did has sorta become part of the popularly accepted Star Wars universe) :
